Modesto Covarrubias is a multidisciplinary artist who lives in Berkeley, California. He works in a broad range of media, including photography, video, installation, printmaking, and performance. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at such galleries and exhibition spaces as the Galleria Civica de Modena in Italy, the Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the San Francisco Arts Commission gallery. He studied architecture at UC Berkeley, received a BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, and received an MFA in Studio Art from Mills College.
